Finally a new kit!!!

I'm sorry I've been away for so long. It's been really busy around here, and now my 2-year old son has pneumonia. Our lives are never boring!

I've finally got a new kit in stores called At The Pumpkin Patch. It has 14 papers and 41 elements.


At The Pumpkin Patch has an optional alpha. The alpha contains upper and lowercase letters, numbers and symbols.

I also have a couple new mini-kits in stores. When It Snows has 13 papers and 31 elements.

Autumn Harvest has 9 papers and 23 elements.


Last month I created some CU elements, although I didn't get them posted here. They are all photographed or scanned and extracted by me. They are PNG files at 300 DPI.

New Kit Just Beachy!

It's a new month, so it's time for a new kit! To me, summer has always meant lazy days spent down the shore, playing on the beach. This kit is for all those great beach memories. It contains 23 papers and 80 elements. It is 12 x 12 and 300 dpi. It's available at Digi Style Designs and Digital Pixel Pixies. I will be uploading it at Creative-Juices in a day or so.

Jimmy's 2nd Birthday

Well, I haven't been around in a while. I've been busy planning my son's 2nd birthday party. He just turned 2 (July 10) and his party is on July 11. Here's the cake I made him:


It's a zoo theme, so I used his little people zoo animal toys for the cake.

In honor of his birthday. I will be releasing the Birthday Party kit next week after all the excitement dies down -- and after I get used to having a 2-year old! :)

Okay, so I haven't been around in a while. mostly I've been busy getting ready for the grand opening at digital Pixel Pixies on July 1st, although I did take some time out to go to the shore for a few days with my family.

Here's a preview of my latest kit which will be available on July 1st. It's a Happy Birthday kit in honor of Jimmy's 2nd birthday on July 10th. As of now, the kit has 14 papers and 42 elements, but that could change in the next few days!!

NDIDDS is over...

Well, NDIDDS is over. The winners were announced today and unfortunately I wasn't chosen. It was a great experience and I'll still be hanging out on the site as a CT.

Week 4 & 5 of NDIDDS and a Freebie

So the plan has changed a bit for weeks 4 & 5 of the NDIDDS competition. The paper packs are now going to be $2.00 each. Because of the change, I am now offering a free QP I made with my kit to whet your appetite! The QP is a 12" x 12" 300 ppi .png file, so all you have to do is drop in your photos. It's Coming!!! Final weeks of NDIDDS and HUGE FREEBIE!

So we are finally down to the final two weeks of the NDIDDS contest at Designs in Digital. For the last challenge, we have two weeks to create a full kit -- 20+ papers, 40 elements and complete alpha. The papers will be available on May 29th and the elements will be available a week later on June 5th. My kit is called Pool Party.

Whenever I think of summer I think of lazy days spent by the pool, splashing, swimming, playing or just floating and relaxing. I also think of my brother's annual summer bash, the food, the fun, and of course the swimming. The Pool Party kit is great for scrapping those fun times in the pool and out. It includes papers for all your summer memories, the sun, the fun and the tasty summer foods.

The Paper Pack includes 25 papers, 8 solid and 17 patterned.

What child doesn't like dinosaurs? Remember watching The Flintstones as a kid? Well, this week's kit was inspired by my almost 2-year old son's music class. Next Designs in Digital Design Star

Designs in Digital is having a contest to choose some new designers called the Next Designs in Digital Design Star (NDIDDS). Since I have been wanting to become a designer, I've entered the contest. I'll be listing my freebie kits that I make for the contest here in the next month.

More About Me

I am a stay-at-home mother of one adorable and very active toddler boy named Jimmy. Jimmy is almost 20-months old. He is usually who you are going to see as the subject of my scrapbooking.

I have been married for 8 years to a wonderful man named Jim. We have been through more in these past eight years than most couples go through a lifetime. Luckily all the hardship just seems to bring us closer.


By background, I am a graphic designer, although I have been out of work for 16-months now. With today's economy, jobs are almost nonexistent, so I keep my design skills sharp by doing digital scrapbooking. I would love to someday design digital scrapbooking kits. I am also open to doing scrap-for-hire to try to earn a little extra money.

I am new to blogging, so please forgive me as I find my way. I started this blog because I was just accepted as a creative team member for Designs in Digital, The Scrapping Garden, and for Silly Beans Scraps. I will be posting the layouts I do for my assignments on these teams.
